So I was trying to find another video to do a reaction breakdown to, I was going to do the new Katy Perry music video, “Roar” but i already watched it three times to do a blog on it. I find it more fun to write a breakdown for seeing the video for the first time. I stumbled upon a weird and unknown artist someone posted on Twitter. Watch the first three seconds of it and realized this would be perfect to do another reaction breakdown. This is Yivis (have no idea how you are suppose to pronounce that) new song, “The Fox”
Here’s the link to the Video
0:00 - 0:24 - It’s a furry party going on. “Dog goes woof” “Cat goes meow” “birds go tweet” Reminds me of that old children nursery rhymes, “old McDonnell’s had a farm he had a dog that went woof, a cat that went meow”. And he goes on listing animals and the sounds they make.
0:24 - 0:46 - He’s still going on. This is the worst uncreative lyrics I ever heard. This is either a joke or new nursery rhyme he’s trying to create. Okay now he wants to know what the Fox say and that is “ring-ding-ding” um I’m don’t think that’s correct. Foxes sounds either like a dog or a baby crying.
0:46 - 1:00 - When they started dancing all I could say no just no just stop. A fox does not freaking sound like that. This is the most cheesy and dumb video ever.
1:00 - 1:24 - This is worse then Rebecca Black. If you think about it, Rebecca Black’s Friday was singing about the days of the week. This guy is singing about what foxes say.
1:24- 1:46 - Okay I’m starting to think Weird Al wrote the lyrics. Also look at the description and it’s was from Norway. (don’t know if that’s true yet) God I really do hope this was just a joke.
1:46 - 2:00 - Kids pay attention to the lyrics, because I’m testing you in this. While he’s at it, can he make a music video about solving math problems that I can never figure out like the quadratic formula because that could help a lot of people. Now he’s teaching us how a fox communicates with a horse, they don’t seem like two animals that would get along.
2:00 - 2:24 - “What does the fox say” “cha-cha-cha- chow” If he really did say that to the horse, I bet the horse would say,”Don’t ever speak to me, ever”. And that fox dance is just goofy. The more I watch the more stupidity it gives.. I think I finally found something worst then Weird Al.
2:24- 246 - That kid looks really uncomfortable and creeped out with all the furies dancing behind him as the old man singing along. I would be very creeped out. Just in case you didn’t know foxes can fly and are so mysterious. At the 2:45 mark, he goes, “What is your sound?” A real fox would probably is responding “I sound like a dog, so can you stop because you are embarrassing our species”.
2:46 - 3:00 - "Well we ever know" Someone never heard of Google, I guess. It’s really not a mystery, I mean there are tons of evidence of sound clips of fox cries that you can find.
3:00 - 3:24 - Now we see an actual fox get up and says a sounds. I bet it’s fox language saying, “Just Stop”.
Is this really necessary for a conclusion the whole video was just goofy and sounds like a nursery rhyme with the most ridiculous concept ever in a music video.
